Deja Cobbs, Director of Program Services

Deja Cobbs is the Director of Program Services at FGCB, where she oversees all programs—including Homework Club, College Access, and College Retention—and supervises the team of College Access Coaches. She manages coach training and professional development, leads workshops for students and families, and helps dismantle barriers to college access. Deja also brings deep expertise in financial aid, guiding students and parents through the process with clarity and care. A graduate of Towson University and the University of Maryland School of Social Work, Deja joined FGCB in 2016. She is also a Certified Professional Life Coach, motivational speaker, and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Deja loves to visit museums, participate in ministry outreach events, and watch Law & Order.
