Gabriela Lopez, College Access Coach, Laurel High School

Gabriela Lopez is a College Access Coach at FGCB. She guides students in identifying postsecondary opportunities and works with families to navigate the transition to college. Originally from Ambato, Ecuador, Gabriela earned her degree in Clinical Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, where she first supported students in high school settings.

Her professional and volunteer work have centered on youth development and educational access.

Gabriela Lopez is a College Access Coach at Laurel High School, where she supports students in exploring postsecondary opportunities and guides families through the college application process. Originally from Ambato, Ecuador, Gabriela earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and worked with high school seniors on career and college readiness.

She brings both professional expertise and her own first-generation experience to FGCB, empowering students to believe that college is possible and within reach.

Fun Fact:

Gabriela is a big fan of comfort food—especially anything with lots of cheese.
