Gavin Brown, Executive Director

Gavin Brown is the Executive Director of First Generation College Bound (FGCB), where he leads the organization’s mission to expand college access for first-generation students. Before taking on this role, Gavin served FGCB as a dedicated board member for 15 years, including seven years as Board Chair. A proud graduate of the University of Valley Forge and a Master of Divinity candidate at Liberty University, Gavin has devoted over 20 years to full-time ministry and is the current Senior Pastor of Lifehouse Church in Beltsville, MD. He also serves on the City of Laurel Clergy Council and as alumni president of his alma mater. A sought-after youth and motivational speaker, Gavin is passionate about helping people see beyond their circumstances and believe in their potential. He lives in Laurel, MD, with his wife, Shekinah, and their three children.
