Kierra D. Winston-Onokoko was born and raised in Ithaca, New York. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from Ithaca College in 2014. After working at Bank of America for some time she realized the need to follow her passion to help individuals and enrolled in a Master of Social Work Program. Kierra currently holds her Masters in Social Work and is the first person in her immediate family to graduate from college. Kierra has counseling experience with at-risk students in high school, middle school, and college settings. She has also worked with students in the Federal Trio programs.
With a love for education and the passion to assist, Kierra joined First Generation College Bound as a College Success Coach for Great Minds Great Future. Prior to this role, she worked as a Clinical Care Coordinator for adolescents at an acute care facility in Washington, D.C.
