Gabriela Lopez was born and raised in Ambato – Ecuador. She graduated with a bachelor's in clinical psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. During this time, she practiced in a High School Psychology Department with senior students. Her primary responsibility was helping students with personality tests and vocational orientation to go to College. She also volunteered at the local church and an orphanage.
After graduation, she moved to Maryland to gain experience for a future professional career. Thanks to personal and professional experience, she found inspiration in people willing to overcome challenges to meet their goals.
She recently joined First Generation College Bound and believes it is an excellent opportunity to make a difference. She is thrilled to see kids grow and learn about this new stage of life and work and guide parents and students in this exciting process of getting into College.
